Pale Saints: Slow Buildings reissue
The third and final Pale Saints LP reissued by 4AD, and repackaged by myself and Roy Burns III. As with the other two albums, the goal was not to make the reissues unrecognizable to fans, but to expand upon the artwork in a respectful way.
But not too respectfully.
As the original sleeve (by Paul McMenamin) had a back cover that varied from the type-driven approach of the first two albums, we took more liberties here, in order to build a cohesive set of the three reissues. We retained Dominic Davies’ wonderful photography, but allowed a looser hand on the typography.
